I just want to say a huge thank you to Heart Christian Fellowship for their generous donation to my friends at Transforming Lives, Uganda. Many of you know that over the years I have visited Janet Robinson, a missionary from Kingdom Life Church, in Uganda, and that the people there are very special to me.
Lockdown in Uganda has been especially hard and no government support has been provided to anybody. People have literally been dying of starvation in their homes and no one has been able to go out to work, the situation was dire for so many but thanks to your donations things have turned around for some of the world’s poorest people.
My friend Sef, whose wife died a few years ago after giving birth to their second child sent me a message in which he said he couldn’t express his gratitude for the donations. Sef was a street child until 20 or so years ago Janet took him in and put him through education and now he works extremely hard to pay for food, rent and his children’s school fees. He told me that he didn’t know how he was going to feed his family until he received the donations.
My friend, Fred, was chatting to somebody in the village last week when he found out that they hadn’t eaten for 3 days, so he was able to go to Janet and help this family out.
These are just two of the stories of countless people who have been helped because of the generosity of Heart Christian Fellowship, so far 68 families have been helped and we still have donations to send.
This crisis isn’t over, so if you would like to donate and are able to please email me at email@example.com and I can chat to you about how best to go about this.
Thank you all once again and God bless,
Honora is still in hospital and making good progress. Keep praying.
Now is an ideal time to go through your bookcase and pick up that book that you were always planning to read. God has given many of us a once in a lifetime Selah, a time to pause, to consider to pray. we need to redeem the time and spend the time well.
Maybe some of you have recommendations for books that it would be good to read at this time. Remember the best way to read is prayerfully.
Lots of Love
